Individual aspirations rarely translate into greatness without a wealth of support from a variety of people and organizations. In the case of this epic adventure, this is particularly true. The greatest thanks is due to my bride-to-be, Torrey. Her selfless efforts and unwavering enthusiasm have proved invaluable and inspirational.
A special note of thanks is also due the following individuals and businesses for their contributions, support, advice, and expertise.
Joe Young Custom Wheels
Many thanks to Joe for his time, patience, and willingness to understand the nature of this trip and the special demands it would place on a set of wheels. Because of Joe’s assistance and immense skill, I will be rolling on a set of wheels that are not only sturdy, strong, and true, but also an expression of master craftsmanship. I cannot say enough good things about the service he provides and give him my strongest recommendation.

ps i got 1 stage win to “isiolo ” during the 2010 TDA
and we all got pissed and had a party …next time remember to win somewhere you can drink beer!!
As you may recall, there are tantalizing beer adverts all over the city: a frosty, cold mug of what most certainly looks like beer. It’s all in Arabic, so for all I know it could say something like “Tough luck sucker – no beer for you!”
Definitely pretty cooked after yesterday’s effort, but eating dinner twice seemed to help quite a bit.
